When you start thinking about replacing a floor, get the process started with a call to schedule a consultation with a Westbrook Floor Covering design professional. Our job is to help you define what you need and want, work out a budget and offer you a selection of floorings from which to choose.The more your consultant learns and knows about your lifestyle, the better advice you will receive. We suggest that you start putting together an inspiration file with:
- Photos
- Magazine clippings
- Fabric samples
- Paint chips
A couple of photos of the room with its current flooring, and rooms adjacent to the project area will provide guidelines for integrating the floor into the current décor.
Outcomes from a design consultation
Following a design consultation, we want you to have a few samples to take home and live with for a couple of days. Your options will be in your design range of comfort as well as within your budget. Your designer will review with you what secondary materials may be needed –carpet padding, moisture membranes, grout, adhesives, etc.
When you’ve made your choices, the consultant will arrange to have your space professionally measure so an accurate quote can be drawn up. After you approve the quote, the flooring will be ordered and installation scheduled at your convenience.
